This is my first post (Ryan), I will be attempting to chronicle the lives of Danni, our lone ferocious feline, the Bub, and I. Recently we bought a home and have been doing home improvements. We did some yard work, and I even took down a tree. I have an interesting anecdote about the yard work. We were raking the leaves and putting them in trash bags yesterday when all of a sudden an eight foot venomous snake appeared out of nowhere and tried to attack me. I of course ran in the opposite direction of Danni to make sure it didn’t attack her. I eventually fought it off and it disappeared. Danni somehow has a different version of this story which contradicts everything that happened. She says it was a nonvenomous snake about five inches long, and because I have a fear of snakes it caused me to run away and refuse to do any more yard work. Her memory is obviously fading with age.
